as most will know by now, a horrific accident occured on the 6th March 2008, a date which will stick with so many people for the rest of their lives. Big Andy was taken from us, way before his time was due, ANYONE who even simply met him will know him as one of the best people in the world, a gentleman, a scholar, a friend, a father, and a heart of gold. Many of us knew the problems he went through and overcame, a shame that god saw it fit to take him at the young age of 44, in my opinion as an angel when he was on this planet it's quite understandable that he was needed in heaven. Needless to say all of his friends and family will miss him dearly. I choose to remember him as the guy who could light up a room (or bar!) just by walking in, he could rally a party in under 30 seconds, he could also be the best shoulder to cry on, be the muscle if it was required, and also be the best friend any person could ever ask for. As Swiss Dave said last night, we've lost one of the good ones here boys, and without a doubt he's spoken the truth. At the VERY least we should all take from this, is you never know what can happen today, life's too short to worry about petty differences, and appreciate everyone who is in your life because you never know when they won't be there.

To Big Andy - Cheers, from everyone who were fortunate enough to have had the honour of knowing you. We all love you, and miss you dearly, sleep well sweet prince.

To everyone who knew Andy, please raise a glass and say thank you for the memories.

Can I also say I will miss him dearly...however can we all friends think about the other Andy who was with him on this sad event, and spare a thought how he feels and perhaps in some small way help him get over the sad loss.
Andy's I am thinking about you both even though I cant be with either of you.
Dave

A Loan From Our Supreme Ruler
"I'll loan you for a little time, this child of mine," he said,
For you to Love the while he lives, and mourn for when he's dead,
It may be six or seven years, or twenty two or three,
But, will you, till I call him back, take care of him for me?
He'll bring his charms to gladden you, and should his stay be brief,
You'll have his lovely memories as solace for you grief.
I cannot promise he will stay, since all from earth must return,
But there are lessons taught down there I'll want this child to learn,
I've looked this wide world over in my search for teachers true,
And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes,
I have selected you.
Now will you give him all your love, not think the labor vain,
Nor hate me when I come to call to take him back again?
I fancied that I heard you say, "Dear Lord, Thy Will Be Done,"
For all the joy the child shall bring, the risk of grief we'll run,
We'll shelter him with tenderness, we'll love him while we may
And for the happiness we've known, forever grateful stay,
But should the Angels call for him sooner than we planned,
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes, and try to understand.

What a shock I came onto the site to see what was on tonight I never knew.
Jackie I'm so sorry I'm thinking about you at this time. I can't make the funeral as I go into hospital on Tuesday 18th and will be having my op on 19th but I will be thinking about you.
